Precautions and what to bring:

1. We are situated in a malaria area, so please take or bring the necessary precautions.
2. A good flashlight is recommended and always handy even if staying in the tree houses. The camp has no electricity and uses paraffin lamps, flashlights therefore will provide extra light.
3. Warm clothing for the winter evenings, temperatures can drop to 4ºC once the sun has set.
4. Swimsuit and beach towel.
5. Sunscreen.
6. This is a self catering camp so ALL YOUR FOOD FOR THE DURATION OF YOUR STAY, the nearest shop is a 2 to 3 hour round trip.
7. Fuel: If you are driving from Johannesburg, Louis Trichardt has the last 24 Hour Stop, from Zimbabwe it’s Musina. Tshipise has regular petrol and diesel and closing at 18:00 and there is a small store selling fuel at Masisi opening hours 07:00 – 17:00. In the Kruger, Punda Maria is your last fuel stop. Please watch out for animals on the road
8. Any outdoor activity gear you have; bikes, fishing rods, binoculars, hiking boots.
9. Camping chairs for extra comfort – even if staying in the Tented Tree Houses.
